Curtis Watkins Farms

Our farm began in 1952 by Bob and MaeBelle Curtis. They started with 6 acres in Lenoir City, Tn. Bob & Mae had three boys.. Bobby, Danny, and James Michael. In 1993 Danny and his wife Nancy Lynn purchased 30 acres in Philadelphia, Tn. In 1995 Bob and Mae moved to the farm to be with Danny and Nancy Lynn. Michael moved into the 6 acres in Lenoir City. Even after Bob's passing in 2003, Danny and Michael continued to farm both properties up until Danny's passing in 2016. Michael sold the Lenoir city property and moved to the Philadelphia farm in 2017 with his wife Nancy Marie. In 2020, Krista and Preston (Michael's daughter and son in law) moved to the farm to provide care for MaeBelle after multiple health issues arose. Nancy Lynn and Maebelle both were diagnosed with cancer and passed within 6 days of each other in 2021. Now in 2024, Michael and his wife Nancy Marie work alongside Krista, Preston, and their three children to continue the family farm.
